Nano particulate drug delivery systems have emerged as a transformative approach in modern therapeutics, offering improved bioavailability, targeted delivery, and controlled release of active pharmaceutical ingredients. Advances in fabrication techniques—ranging from solvent evaporation and nano precipitation to highpressure homogenization and microfluidic synthesis—have significantly enhanced the scalability, reproducibility, and precision of nanoparticle production. Alongside these developments, evaluation tools such as particle size analysis, zeta potential measurement, encapsulation efficiency, drug release kinetics, and biocompatibility testing play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, efficacy, and quality of formulations. This paper highlights the recent innovations in manufacturing processes and critically reviews the parameters used to evaluate nanoparticulate drug delivery systems. The integration of nanotechnology with pharmaceutical sciences is reshaping therapeutic strategies, offering promising solutions for sitespecific delivery, reduced toxicity, and enhanced patient compliance.
