Acne vulgaris remains one of the most prevalent dermatological conditions worldwide, affecting individuals across diverse age groups and often leading to physical and psychological burdens. Conventional therapeutic approaches—including topical agents, systemic antibiotics, and retinoids—are limited by issues such as antimicrobial resistance, poor skin penetration, adverse side effects, and patient noncompliance. Recent advances in novel drug delivery systems offer promising alternatives to overcome these challenges. This research proposal explores innovative combinatorial drug delivery strategies, integrating nanocarriers, liposomes, hydrogels, and polymeric systems to enhance therapeutic efficacy, targeted delivery, and sustained drug release. The proposal emphasizes the potential of synergistic combinations, such as antimicrobial agents with anti-inflammatory compounds, delivered through advanced carriers to optimize treatment outcomes. By bridging pharmaceutical innovation with dermatological needs, this work aims to contribute toward developing more effective, patient-friendly, and sustainable solutions for the management of acne vulgaris
