The present paper provides a comprehensive overview of the therapeutic potential of benzothiazole-based compounds, with particular emphasis on their antimicrobial and antidiabetic activities. Various studies have demonstrated that structural modifications in the benzothiazole nucleus significantly influence their biological performance. The presence of different substituents and functional groups plays a key role in enhancing activity against a variety of microbial pathogens as well as in regulating glucose metabolism.
